Haiti Project

The Poor Community of Port au Prince

Second Impressions recently hosted a "pop-up resale store" to benefit the poor people of Haiti in getting the gospel by partnering in a church plant. We are excited to be partnering with Cross to Light to bring hope to this local community. This will be an ongoing project and fundraising effort. Our initial goal is to raise $3,500.00 through several sales and private cash donations. We have already raised $2,300.00

August Haiti Mission Trip

Meet the 2015 Team

11 of us traveled to Port au Prince, Haiti in August 2015 to help the orphan, the poor, the homeless and the spiritually lost. We had 9 full days of ministry work targeted in the Port- au Prince area. We were blessed to partner with Cross to Light and Reverence Bible Church. While in Haiti we stayed at Cross to Light's Bible Training Facilities. We worked directly with their organization and assisted in many capacities

Here are some of the areas of outreach we participated in:

Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food.  If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?  In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. James 2:15-17
